Prepare for Your Visit.

Preparing for surgery can feel overwhelming—we’re here to make it easier.
Follow these simple steps so you feel confident, informed, and ready. And remember, our team is always just a phone call or text message away.

“From start to finish, they made the process so smooth. I always knew what to expect.”

After you and your physician decide to move forward, let your surgeon know you’d like to have your procedure at Monterey Peninsula Surgery Centers (MPSC). Your surgeon’s office will handle the details and book the next available surgery date—or a time that works best for you. Once you’re on the schedule, our team will reach out to coordinate the next steps.

Questions or timing to discuss? Our Scheduling team is happy to help – just reach out (scheduling@mpscllc.org). We’re here to keep the process simple and stress-free.

All patients have the right to make decisions about their healthcare, including the right to complete an Advance Directive or Power of Attorney that designates someone to make medical decisions on their behalf if they are unable to do so. MPSC respects and upholds these rights. However, in the event of a medical emergency or deterioration, it is our policy to initiate resuscitative or stabilizing measures and transfer the patient to an acute care hospital. If an Advance Directive has been provided to MPSC, a copy will accompany the patient to the hospital. Further treatment will follow the instructions outlined in that document or Power of Attorney. Please note: Agreeing to this policy does not revoke or invalidate any existing Advance Directive.
